Shopping Center for Pendik from TSKB Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı

The launch of Pendorya Shopping Center to be realized in Pendik by the investment of TSKB REIT has taken place on May 29 at the Esma Sultan Mansion. The event, which was attended by the executives of noted store chains and members of the press, was entertained by the friendly music group Dolapdere Big Gang.

Pendorya aimed to be launched in 2009 by the investment of TSKB Real Estate Investment Trust (TSKB REIT), was introduced to the executives of noted store chains and members of the press by a launch ceremony realized on the evening of May 29 at the Esma Sultan Mansion.

Attendants of the evening have experienced a colourful rest in a pleasant atmosphere by the authentic music performance of Dolapdere Big Gang.

The Pendorya Shopping Center introduced at the event will be built on the Asian side of Istanbul, at the crossroad of Pendik-Kaynarca facing to the highway E-5. Pendorya, located close to the center of Pendik, the seaside road and the Sabiha Gokcen Airport is expected to bring a different breeze to the district of Pendik, the rising star of the eastern side of Istanbul with investments made into new housing areas, the marina, the universities, techno parks and exhibition areas.

The Ataman Group of Companies is among the partners of the project to be developed. The Ataman Group gives also consultancy service for the project development.

Pendorya for a "colourful pause"

Pendorya will not serve only to the citizens of Pendik and of the region, but will also be the shopping center for those who will drop by for a "colourful pause" on the route E-5 and meet all their needs under the same roof. With its 130 shops and catering areas with a capacity for 1000 people including the hypermarket, the electronics market and the cinemas, it will offer spaciousness and comfort at the same time. With the biggest electronics market and a free-of-charge parking area with a capacity for 1000 vehicles, Pendorya will be a unique shopping center with a different architecture collating especially the lower and upper courts, the open-closed space relation with smooth passages.

The access area of Pendorya located close to public means of transportation on the main roads stretches out to Maltepe on the west side, to the boarders of Gebze in the east side and to Tuzla Akfırat region in the north.

Why Pendik?

TSKB REIT taking major attention to create a sound and profitable portfolio of real estates since its foundation, has evaluated also the project development works of Pendorya with utmost diligence. During this evaluation following factors have played an important role: The fact that Pendik was close to the Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the İstanbul Park; that Istanbul will host the Exhibition and Congress Center, of which the construction continues and the 3rd marina of İstanbul; that beside being considered as a business and finance valley, it has the potential of becoming an education/training center; that it is an area for which qualitative public housing projects have been developed based on a planned structuring and proper infrastructure.

The connection to the most important highway network and the access to means of sea transportation for a seamless transportation constitute just a few of other factors related to the location of Pendorya.
